Μία κοπέλα από το Σαραντάπορο, η Κατερίνα Ράπτη, που αναγκάστηκε να ξενιτευτεί για μια καλλίτερη ζωή και που παρακολουθεί με αγωνία τον αγώνα που κάνουν οι απανταχού Έλληνες, προκειμένου να μην περάσει η επαίσχυντη "Συμφωνία των Πρεσπών", βάζει το δικό της λιθαράκι στην όλη προσπάθεια υπεράσπισης του ιερού ονόματος της Μακεδονίας μας.
Βρέθηκε λοιπόν με την παρέα της σε ένα υπέροχο εστιατόριο. Αν και όλα προμήνυαν ότι η βραδιά θα ήταν υπέροχη, ένα γεγονός τους χάλασε τη διάθεση. Στον κατάλογο όπου υπήρχαν κρασιά από Κύπρο, Λίβανο, Κρήτη κλπ, υπήρχαν και κρασιά από τη ΠΓΔΜ με την επωνυμία "Μακεδονία". Συνέταξε την επιστολή που ακολουθεί ζητώντας να αποσυρθεί το εν λόγω κρασί ελπίζοντας ότι την επόμενη φορά που θα επισκεφθούν το εστιατόριο να μην ασχοληθούν με το ίδιο θέμα, όχι μόνον γιατί αυτό ενοχλεί τους Έλληνες αλλά γιατί πρόκειται για πολιτικά λανθασμένο ζήτημα.

My name is Katerina Rapti. Yesterday, I and my company had a dinner at the restaurant. The environment, the food and the service was amazing. We had an amazing time there. Αn unfortunate fact makes us feel upset. On the wine list (as per attached photo) there are two wines (the fifth and seventh on the list) with the origin ''Macedonia'' (Tikves Winery is from Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, (FYROM), not from Makedonia.
I would like kindly to inform you that there is no country ''Macedonia'' and that is not politically correct. Macedonia lies within contemporary Greek borders, comprises the northern portion of the Greek state, and is called Macedonia. Some 2.5 million Greeks reside in this region today and they and their forebears have considered and called themselves Macedonians through the centuries.
It's a controversial and long-running dispute. Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, (FYROM) is controversial for Greeks because it uses the same name as a neighbouring region in northern Greece.
The name issue is a problem with regional and international dimensions, consisting in the promotion of irredentist and territorial ambitions on the part of the FYROM, mainly through the counterfeiting of history and usurpation of Greece’s national, historical and cultural heritage.
Please, take care of that and proceed with the necessary actions.
Hopefully, our next time there do not have the same issue. Is not only for Greek people, but it is also about what is politically correct.
